Code Your Own Website by Basher, and TheCoderSchool

Summary: TheCoderSchool, a Silicon Valley based after-school drop-off program for kids learning to code, teams up with Basher to create personifications of the Internet. More specifically, personifications of the tools used behind the scenes of the Internet. This book will show you how to make a website through step-by-step processes that build on each other’s concepts in an entertaining way that can be appealing to young adults and adults alike.

Comments: The proposed five pre-built code files were not accessible for me as those files seemed to be important the following project on later pages. I tried coding without the files. The project was a flop because PHP files cannot be opened in an .html file considering they’re in a different server, and the .htaccess file is not ideal to use in professional settings as said on stackoverflow because the information cannot be transferred from device to device.

My opinion: Aside from the missing information for the project, I thought the book was interesting and informative. I would recommend this book.
